Day 5: 30 Days of Thanksgiving Giveaway



November 5, 2013 ~ Today I am thankful for my loving husband.

He's my best friend. My confidant. The calm to my crazy. The logic to my whimsy. The sensible to my senselessness. The realist to my idealist. The strength to my weakness. And after 24 years of marriage, he's still the one. And, bonus points for him because he never complains about my makeup, handbag, fashion, and accessories obsession!

11.5.13 PRIZE: I think Sephora has really upped their game on their own line of cosmetics the last couple of years, and this palette is a favorite of mine lately.  One lucky follower will receive one Sephora Limited Edition Black Magic Palette.     I cannot wait to meet someone and have a relationship like you and your husband. :) That is so sweet!

    I am thankful for the opportunity to go to college, and earn an education. I love every minute of it & I'm scared to leave it! lol :)

    Today I'm thankful that my mother's Pacemaker appointment went so well. She hasn't had an incident in the 15 months since it was installed and before that she'd be in the hospital every few months. What a difference this device has made.

    Today I am thankful the Illinois General Assembly for passing marriage equality bill. Now many of my friends and family can have the same kind of marriage as you and your husband.

    I am thankful for my family. Before I met my husband, I always wanted children, but was unable to have them due to emergency surgery when I was younger. I met him and he was a tired single parent with three children to raise on his own. It must have been a miracle from god, because we all felt as though we knew each other from a former life, now I truly know what being a mother is like because their life and mine are finally complete.
