Essie Fall 2012: Stylenomics

Here's a quick print ad scan showing Essie's Fall 2012 Collection called Stylenomics. I'm not really feeling it, but that could always change! There are some swatches available if you do a Google search. These have an August 1 release date. As always, click to enlarge detail.

  1. It leaves me cold too! I think it's just that most of the colors aren't even flattering...

  2. Typical fall shades, but Miss Fancy Pants looks nice

  3. When I am overspending on polish, I do not like to be reminded of finances. I am repelled by this collection because the names are making fun of people who have to tighten their belts because they don't have enough money to make ends meet. This is not funny or something I want to be reminded of.

This is not a very smart theme, dare I say stupid, for a polish collection in the worst recession in recent memory? Especially for a brand which is now appearing at the low end of the market in drugstores.

    These shades depress me.

On that note, thank you for bringing this to us, I will now avoid clicking on swatches of this collection.

  4. like the colours, but i think "essie" is very expensive and not as good as i thought of.
poorly it is like cheap ones :-(

  5. I have never seen anything like stylonomics (or however you spell it). I'll have to pick it up!

  6. Ugh this is a bit of a disappointment after the summer 2012 collection and the poppy razzi collection. Where is the innovation? There jellies were so magnificent too! I do like the look of fancy pants but I have a undying lust in my soul for all grey polishes so...yeah...

  7. Hah, I love the collection name! Who knew Essie would play with the suffix "-nomics" (which means "law" of...) to describe the Fall collection 2012. But when I first heard "stylenomics" I thought about hair salon, robots, high tech office chair (style+ergonomic=stylenomics)). But now I'm wondering if this fall collection would retail for less than usual (in Canada it rages from $8.00 to about $12.00).

Anyways, I can't wait to see the swatches!! : )

  8. So glad to buy Essie online for $4.00 /bottle..The reular prices are too high like walgreens/wal-mart/target...Essie Is the bomb still
