Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Review & Giveaway of 10 Sets!
Today I have a review and giveaway for the new Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy shampoo and conditioner. Ten lucky readers will receive a set of this breakthrough approach to haircare that's all about scalp nourishment. If you're like me, you worry about repairing damaged hair and nurturing the hair itself. But it turns out that 99% of hair's natural strength and beauty comes from the scalp. The new Clean Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy products are revolutionary shampoos and conditioners that feed your scalp to create the right foundation for stronger, more beautiful hair in just 7 days. Specially formulated with Nutrium 10 technology--a rich blend of 10 vitamins and nutrients that feed your scalp. These products are clinically proven to help restore the natural moisture balance to your scalp. There are six customized ranges to choose from, so you're sure to find one that matches your needs.
The beautiful Heidi Klum was recently named the face of the Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy brand, and you can watch this video to learn more about the line.
The range includes Total Care (all hair types), Damage and Color Repair, Volumizing Root Boost, Strong Lengths, Moisturizing Dry Scalp, and Complete Care (for dandruff prone hair/scalp). The retail price ranges between $4.99-$5.99, and the bottles are 12.9 fl. oz. (shampoo) and 12.7 fl. oz. (conditioner). This product is available at many chain drugstores and retailers nationwide.
Here's a look at the ingredients on both the conditioner (above) and the shampoo (below). You can click the photos to enlarge.
I've been a "salon only" hair care brand consumer for decades, but have recently been using several different drugstore type of brands with equal or in some cases, better results. I've also recently realized that I don't need to shampoo my hair every day (I do use conditioner daily though), and that many products designed to nourish your scalp really do make my hair look much better--shinier, healthier, and fuller. I've been using the Clear Scalp Hair Therapy set for Total Care for a solid two weeks now, and I even enlisted my husband to use my products over the last week. He was also happy with the results. They actually do make a line for men, which you can view here. The shampoo is very thick, which concerned me because I thought it might be too heavy for my hair. Another thing I noticed about the shampoo, is that you need very little to get a full head of lather, so a little goes a long way. This smells delicious, so that was just a bonus! The conditioner also smells wonderful, and it looks and applies like your typical hair conditioner--it has a medium consistency and it seems to rinse out thoroughly. While I didn't notice an instant change in my hair, I definitely noticed a change after the first week. I seem to have many more good hair days than bad with these products, and the great thing for fine-haired women like me is that my hair looks fuller. My hair is never smooth after blow drying, so I always flat iron it to control the flyaways. I've noticed that my hair is so much smoother with these products that I would almost feel comfortable skipping the flat iron process. I'm not quite ready to do that, but it does give me hope that with continued use, I'll be able to do that. I've got my color appointment next week, and the shine on my hair typically dulls about a week before my appointments. I've noticed that my shine factor seems to have been amped up after using these products, because my hair still looks nice and shiny. Unfortunately, I don't think the Clear Scalp & Hair has the ability to make me look as good as Heidi Klum though!
Clear Scalp & Hair has generously offered to give away 10 sets of their revolutionary hair care shampoo and conditioner to 10 lucky readers! This stuff can't be good for your scalp. The second ingredient on the shampoo is Sodium Laureth Sulphate which is known to cause cancer. What a disappointment.

I am so unhappy with most of the shampoos and conditioners on the shelf these days. Every few years they change the formula and every other company falls in line. The most recent does not make my hair nice at all and I have been yearning for someone to come out with an alternative. This may be it! I would love to try it!

I purchased the Clear Shampoo and Conditioner four days ago and I've decided to stop using it. My hair feels awful and the texture is not smooth and sleek anymore. I'm going back to my Kanebo Shampoo and Conditioner. Yes, it's pricey at $30 a bottle for each shampoo and conditioner, but the old addage "you get what you pay for" is true with the Clear product. Yes, Clear is cheap and my hair definitely looks bad after using it. I liked my hair before I used this product.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I purchased the Total Care CLEAR shampoo and conditioner. As I read the other comments people are talking about hoping they win. Come on people, it's a cheap shampoo and it's definitely NOT worth trying.
ReplyDeleteThe person spouting off about how SLS causes cancer does not know what they're talking about. Check your facts.

I have a hard time finding a shampoo that doesn't make my hair dry. I have naturally curly thick hair and it needs a lot of moisture but not too much or it gets greasy . I wasted so much money on hair products. I wouldn't know if I should try this shampoo, and waste more money.

a known carcinogen is the second ingredient in the shampoo. Forget it.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree. Nothing natural or healthy about it if it has SLS. It might make your hair look good short term but not worth the long term risks.
ReplyDeleteMy hair is naturally curly, which means DRY! It's also damaged from having to color greys that I'm just not down with 'sporting' them yet. Not at this point in life anyway. Have finally broken down and tried WEN which is very expensive and out of my budget. Most salon products do not do what they say they will do, hence, 'WEN'. When I read about these products that are in my budget and all of the comments about how they really do restore shine and help repair damage, I'm impressed! Definitely count me in, what have I got to lose, right? e-mail address is; wasntme@hotmail.com Thank you all for taking the time to comment. It helps to read when desperate to regain the shine, strength, and over all health of hair, as well as scalp!
