My plan was to run in to Meijer, grab some more packing tape and padded envelopes, then hurry home so I could finish packing up some of last week's prizes. Somehow, I wandered over to another department and saw all of these little faces looking at me...as if to say "Please, will you take us home?" What is the deal with Blue Cross Beauty? They make these great Halloween polishes, each year bringing different shades and finishes out, they gave us the Liquid Euphoria polishes years ago...they need to become more mainstream, wouldn't you say?
"Pumpkin family, table for six please!" Of course my favorites are the blue glitter and the silver holographic bar glitter madness.
Meijer has all of their Halloween cosmetics in a big display, so how could I pass up some of the other goodies they had? Well, obviously I couldn't! I picked up three of the Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers, L-R: Purple Potion, Black Magic, Creepy Pumpkin.
I also picked up two more Claw Polishes to add to my Halloween Melmer drawer, Voodoo and Phantom. Voodoo looks to be a blood red creme with red foil glitter, and Phantom is a medium grey creme that has subtle multi colored glitter (see below). They also had a small Rimmel Halloween type of display that had an eye shadow palette or two, and a black creme polish along with Rags to Riches, the olive shimmer shown below.
I complain quite a bit about living in a small town that has limited shopping, but I'm not complaining that I have a Meijer right down the road, that's for sure! Now if they'd only get the L'Oreal Project Runway Collection with the owl/bird-themed polishes!
