Hello, beauties! How was the weekend? I'm still working on transferring files and photos to my new computer and I will be glad when that's done. I also bought a portable external hard drive so the next time I lose my computer, my back-up system will hopefully be in tact!First up, our winner of the Morningside Linden Flower Body Butter is...Carrie! Congratulations to Carrie, and thanks to all who entered.
Not too much in nail news this week, although I did see where Kim from Overall Beauty is going to be carrying Glitter Gal polishes. I don't have any of these in my collection, so I'll be picking up a few to add. Let me know if you have any recommendations.
Speaking of recommendations, I've been trying to upgrade my make up brushes and ordered the MAC 187 and 188 this weekend. I usually wash mine in baby shampoo, but after reading about some homemade brush cleaner recipes, I thought I'd get some ideas from you about the subject. How often do you wash your brushes, and what type of cleanser do you use?
There have been a few comments left over the past couple of weeks that readers were having trouble connecting to my Facebook page. If you have minute, I'd appreciate it very much if you can click on the FB link in the right-hand column and let me know if it works for you. I deleted my original link and uploaded it again, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Thank you! That's it for now, and I hope you all enjoy this last week of July!

I tried it again by clicking the link in the right-hand column but it's still the same... It opens my FB home page.
I use baby shampoo to clean my brushes but I don't wash them often enough. I really want to try some of those Glitter Gal holographic polishes!
The facebook link works fine for me! I'm using Google Chrome as a browser.
I use Dr. Bronner’s soap to clean my brushes. I do them immediately if i use something cream-based, or once a week if i'm just using powders.
Facebook link works for me! I'm using Safari
The facebook link works for me. I use Google Chrome.
Your link worked perfectly for me. :D
I clean my brushes after every use by gently swirling and swiping them on a baby wipe or a makeup remover wipe. I wash my brushes when I feel they need it in plain old clear shampoo. This keeps my brushes clean and soft and healthy for my skin. :)
I don't get it why it doesn't work for me, I'm using Google Chrome too...
I've tried with Firefox and IE too and it doesn't work either so it must be something in the settings of my PC. Can anyone tell me what the exact name is of the FB page; maybe I can try to find it with the search function. TIA!
I don't wash mine that often. I don't feel the need to wash them every week. I'm the only one using it! I usually use whatever shampoo I have. After all shampoo is made to remove oils, etc. I also wipe them on makeup remover cloths.
