Zoya Mod Mattes: Lolly

Zoya Lolly is one of three colorful matte shades in the Mod Mattes Collection from Zoya this Spring/Summer. Lolly is a bright fuchsia pink/hot pink shade, and I love how the finish matches the frosted bottle finish! This is a great summer color, as are the other two shades in this set. The colors used in the Mod Matte Collection give me kind of a retro late 60's/early 70's vibe!

The formula on Lolly dries quickly, and I like that it has more of an egg shell finish than a completely flat finish. I did need to use three coats to get an even look to my coverage, because I had some sheer spots and some darker spots that just wouldn't disappear until the third coat.

You can add a top coat to these for a more enhanced color look, but I do like the finish on these with no top coat. The Zoya matte shades always seem to wear well for me with much less chipping than other matte shades I've worn.

  1. This is my FAVE Matte shade from ANY brand! It's so gorgeous

  2. I am glad Zoya went out on the limb which they do so well and did a bright matte collection. I am not a fan of the matte look - but I did like this pink one, ordered it and put a clear topper on it. I know a lot of matte fan folks are really loving this collection this summer.

  3. I have this shade, with the other two mini's Phoebe and Mitzi, looks gorgoeus on your nails Mary. I even used the CG Crackle with this for an added Frosting of Matte, LOL

  4. I love all of the matte Zoya's. I own them all! Love this one. Looks so pretty on you.
