China Glaze Knotty

China Glaze Knotty is one of twelve shades in the Anchors Away Spring 2011 Collection. This is a neutral shimmer shade that combines pale gold and light beige, and the silver glass-flecked micro glitter adds a subtle touch of sparkle. The photos below show this shade in full sun and in the shade.

I used two coats and it would likely take three to erase any visible nail lines. This is a nice shade in the bottle, but I'm not sure that it works well with my skin tone. Between all of the rain we've had and now temperatures pushing 100 degrees for the last couple of days, working on my tan not been possible! I'll try it again later in the summer to see if I like it any better, but I'm not so sure I will.

  1. I love this shade! I think it looks good on you. It doesn't clash with your skintone at all!

  2. Aww, I like the concept of the polish color, but it sucks that it doesn't translate well to the nail.
