OPI Avoplex Hand & Nail Cream
I've taken a couple of days off from my blog this week, because my husband's off work all week and we're spending the time doing house projects. The kitchen has been repainted, and I must say, the tangerine color we used on the lower walls is much brighter than it appeared in the can and on the color swatch! We planted two nectarine trees this morning, and he's off somewhere now looking for some cherry trees.
With all of this work, my hands have taken a beating. I received OPI Avoplex High-Intensity Hand & Nail Cream on Tuesday from a friend of mine, and I've been using it ever since and loving it! The information printed on the box says it helps address the needs of severely overworked hands and nails, so that's what I needed. It's packed with lots of hydrating ingredients, including shea butter, almond oil, and avocado oil, to name a few. The scent reminds me a bit of green tea--very light, but not at all overpowering.
This absorbs quickly and is fairly thick. I cannot stand greasy residue from lotions, so this one is great for me with it's non-greasy formula. My hands have improved quite a bit from using this, and it even adds a nice healthy shine to my nails. I found it to be very moisturizing, and the visible improvement to my dry hands and cuticles is noticeable immediately.
Avoplex High-Intensity Hand & Nail Cream comes in a 1.7 fl. oz. flip-top tube, and in doing some price searching, it's available through Amazon for $3.50. They also have a 4 fl. oz. tube for $5.99. I always thought this was more expensive for some reason, but now that I've fallen in love with it, I'm glad to know that it can be found at a reasonable price.
Speaking of falling in love, many thanks to all who answered my question Monday about electronic book readers. Your thoughts and opinions were very helpful, and my wonderful husband bought me the white Kindle for Mother's Day! I absolutely love it, and I can see Kindle and I having a long, happy life together. I can also see all of the funds in my budget normally used for my make up/nail polish/hand bag addiction purchases being diverted to Amazon gift cards for books!
