New Sinful Polka Dots Display

I had a craving for a Russell Stover Marshmallow Egg, so I ran into Walgreens for my fix and spotted a new Sinful display. I think this is new, but then again, small town life that I lead...maybe not! The display is called Polka Dots, and while there may be some re-promotes in there, I picked up a trio of shades that I hadn't seen before.

Below: I did some quick nail wheel swatches and used 2 coats on Hazard and Nirvana, and 3 coats on Unicorn. These are cremes, but I will add that Hazard has very secret shimmer. I thought I saw the slightest hint of shimmer, but I actually had to get out a magnifying glass to confirm that, so it's top secret shimmer! Hazard is a vivid coral shade, Nirvana is a deep taupe creme that darkens quite a bit with a second coat, and Unicorn is a pale butter yellow creme.

Below: I believe the SC embossing on the cap is a new design element. Not terribly exciting, but it may be a way to determine their age/release time frame in the future.

Have you seen this out and about yet? Maybe someone else can confirm for us if these are indeed new shades!

  7. I haven't seen these yet, but I like a lot of them. We don't have a walgreens where I live, but Target just started carrying Sinful Colors... I will have to go look and see if this display is out there...

  10. I like Unicorn and Hazard...hopefully, I can pick them up when my no-buy is done.

But Sinful makes me so mad...I feel like they almost never do new stuff. They just put old stuff in new displays. Bleh.

  11. Oh, I hope I can find them! And seriously??? Only 2 coats for a Sinful color??? All the ones I have need like 4 or 5 coats for a nice opacity. Love Unicorn and Hazard. I might have to pick them up :)

  18. The blues and green look older. I've had nirvana a few months also. I always get excited when I see a new display....then most are old colors. =(

  19. These are so pretty. It is tough to know whether these are new or not. Very frustrating. I just looked them up on my list and I have Nirvana and Unicorn. These were bought a few months ago. Guess these aren't brand new.
