Borghese Rapido: Euro Green, Riviera Sunset & Tempesta Black

I saw a new Spring collection from Borghese earlier this week--lots of pastels, so I thought I'd better get busy and swatch some shades I picked up from their last Rapido Collection a month or two back!

Below: Euro Green is a nice medium olive shimmer with green and pink micro glitter. This shade also shows glints of gold from certain angles.

Below: Riviera Sunset is a bright antique gold shade with a bit of a brassy look. This shimmer also contains micro glitter in lighter gold and pink.

Below: Tempesta Black, a not-quite pitch black cream shade with silver micro glitter looked better in the bottle! I would have bet my entire nail polish collection that I saw the slightest hint of green in the glitter, but I don't see that on the nail.

I had some pesky little bald areas on all of these after two coats, so I ended up going with a third coat. I'm a sucker for olive green shades, so Euro Green is my favorite of the three, but honestly, not a one of these is unique in my opinion. Shopping fail on my part!

  1. Love Euro Green! The others look like polishes I already have. I guess the green is like others I have also. They're still pretty.

  2. I have been lemming Euro Green since seeing the first swatches of it ! What a beauty!

  3. Euro Green is nice but I doubt I'd like it on me. Thanks for the swatches!

  4. Euro Green IS fabulous. I'm a suck for those type of colors too!
