Continuing with my month-long 2nd Anniversary Blog Celebration, today's winner will receive a bottle of Chanel's Pearl Drop. Chanel's Intermezzo is a favorite of mine and somewhat similar to Pearl Drops, and pearls are my birthstone--so that was my excuse for buying this one! I also picked up an extra one for a giveaway during this celebratory month!
I normally keep my giveaway entry rules simple to make things easier and less time-consuming for myself. This time, I'd like to ask you to again, just leave your eMail address in the comments section as your entry, but I'd also like to request one more item that you need to include for your entry to be valid. It's still easy, really! I want you to click here and take a look at the China Glaze Metro Collection for Fall 2011. You can enlarge the photo that has the circular color swatches for a better look by clicking on it a couple of times. Then, in addition to your eMail address, include the 2 shades from Metro that you think will be the most popular. That's it, your eMail address and your 2 picks for the most popular shades from Metro. My personal choices are Westside Warrior and Sky Scraper.
The reason I'm asking you to tell me what your picks are from Metro is because I'm doing an independent study to satisfy my own curiosity. What sparked my interest in this stems from my excitement when I saw the promo pictures from Color Club's Alter Ego Spring Collection. I received that collection today, and I was completely surprised by how different some of the shades looked in real life. The shade Alter Ego made my heart skip a beat--in the promo picture, that is. Now that I have the bottle in my hand, not so much. But there are a couple of other "sleepers" in that set that I never would have chosen as my favorites, based on the promo ads. Revealed is a dusty peach with hidden shimmer--a peach version of Essie's Demure Vixen only with pinky/peach hidden shimmer. This was not a favorite of mine from the onset, but it is now. So I'm interested in finding out which shades "appear" to be popular based on promo pictures vs. which shades come out as the true stars in reality.
Indulge my curiosity and include your eMail address and your 2 favorites from China Glaze Metro for your entry in the comments section. Your odds of winning will probably be higher in this giveaway, because I'm willing to bet that a lot of people won't read everything I wrote for a valid entry!
Followers only please, and the contest will end tomorrow (2/5) at midnight. The winner will be announced on Monday. Good luck!
