Marc Jacobs EDT Daisy Rollerball

I'm a big fan of Marc Jacobs when it comes to his fashions, so when I was looking for something from Sephora to round my order up to take advantage of their free shipping, I thought I'd try one of his fragrances. My first thought when I applied it was that it was a little too flowery and sweet for me, but it dried down quickly to a very pleasant and light scent. The notes in Daisy are Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, and White Woods.

This scent always scores compliments when I wear it--it's very feminine and just sweet enough without being overpowering at all. I love the portability of the packaging, it's perfect for carrying in my bag for a touch up later on in the day. I've used this many times since I bought it in early December, and it's still practically full, so I think it will last quite a while. I like the non-commitment that comes with buying a rollerball. There's nothing worse than spending a lot of money on larger sized bottle, only to find out you don't like it all that much. With this .24 fl. oz. size, you get plenty of product, and it's a great way to try a new scent without spending a small fortune. This product retails for $20.00 at Sephora.

Speaking of Marc Jacobs, I keep a file in my computer called Bag Wish List. One of the bags is the Marc Jacobs Classic Q Little Ukita, and when I swatched Cult Nails inaugural shade yesterday here, I was reminded of this bag. Does anyone else have wish lists that seem to grow much faster than you're able to acquire the items?!!
Because I adore Marc Jacobs, I'll leave you with this ad that he posed for in his Bang Men's Fragrance ad!

  1. I love my Daisy roller ball. I didn't want to drop the money for a bottle of perfume because I never even use even a 1/4th of a bottle. So last year when the roller ball was introduced I jumped on it.

  2. I love the smell of Daisy. Buying a roller ball is a good idea. I love fragrance and wear it every day. I feel weird if I don't have any fragrance on. I love to get the little sample perfumes. That's a really good way to find out if you like a perfume.

  3. Not one of my favorite designers by a long shot, but I can't deny that Daisy is a really nice fragrance. It's feminine and young and it always reminds me of the springtime. Lola is nice too, but a little more sultry.

  4. I like smaller size for perfume because I like to change my scent every now and then. I'v never finish up a full bottle before the scent starts to change.

    And, love your bag!
