It's bright and sunny here today--still cold though! We're bracing for 18-24" of snow coupled with 55 mph winds starting tomorrow, so yeah, I'm really looking forward to that!

In nail news, VNS now has the Color Club Alter Ego Collection available to order, Butter London has a brand new Spring collection, and singer Monica Brown just signed a deal with Orly for a line of polishes. I ordered 3 of the Butter London shades because I don't have any Butter London polishes in my collection, so I'm looking forward to receiving those. I'm debating if I want to order a couple of the Misa shades from their new Wishes Collection, but I'm not really clear on what type of finish they have.

Estee Lauder is coming out with 16 new nail shades that are scheduled to hit the counters in the States around February 28. I'm excited about these new shades because they're not your typical EL shades. There's a green one called Wicked Cypress that looks like something I need, and some of the other shades look tempting also. 8 of these shades will be LE.

I can't believe it's already January 31! My daughter's birthday is tomorrow, so we'll be celebrating that, and my blog's anniversary is in February! I'm still all over the place with what I'm doing to celebrate that, so I'll be finalizing some things today in hopes of being able to start that party tomorrow. I'll be having a number of giveaways, and I'll be offering some of them on the blog, some on Facebook, and some on Twitter. I've been picking prizes up for the past couple of months and I hope you'll enjoy the festivities!
