OPI Texas Nail Wheel Swatches

Here's a quick look at the 12 shades included in OPI's Spring 2011 Texas Collection, due to be released in February. Yen from Victoria Nail Supply sent this over, so thank you Yen! If you're interested in a more in-depth look at Texas, Helen from Just Nice Things covers it well in her article here. I see a couple of shades that interest me...how about you?

  1. Eh. Not in love with these colors. Might need to get Y'all Come Back Now Ya Hear?

  2. The only ones that look interesting to me are 1, 3, 5 and 6 but I need to see actual swatches. If 1 is a Jelly, I'm all in, lol. If not, pass.

  5. Meh, I say :/ The top row looks utterly boring, those reds are WAY too similar :( The non-reds might be interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing actual swatches :)

  6. Absolutely boring. Nothing to buy. No foils. No duochromes.

  14. I'm yawning...but then OPI usually has me yawning. I think part of my problem is I have way too many untrieds...so everything looks like what I already have. I'm not seeing much of anything new lately...

  15. Mh, I'm kinda disappointed in OPI. I didn't like the Burlesque at all, the Texas is meh, too, and before that - was it the Hong Kong before that? I got the green and blue one out of the Hong Kong Collection ;)

I don't wear reds, oranges or corals at all, very rarely pink, so I'm gonna pass on all of these, but since I am a sucker for blues, turquoises and greens, I will check out the turquoise one and the green one from the Texas Collection ... and the grey lone-star.

Did you hear about the melting of Essie and Loreal? So Essie belongs now to Loreal? And Coty wants to buy OPI? I have to do a little research today or tomorrow ... I am sure with the Essie-Loreal-deal (and in my personal opinion - ewww! No one likes Loreal ... blaargh. A Loreal hairdye once totally ruined my hair, it took me months to get it right again) ... but I don't know how the OPI-Coty deal turned out ...

  16. This is probably the least excited I've been about an OPI collection. About five of the shades are great but the sheer jellies really freaked me out. Opinion is going to be ever so divided on those.
