Zoya Fire & Ice Winter/Holiday Collection: Part I

Above & Below: Lisa is a sparkly and glowy red with the slightest pink tone. The glitter in this is extremely foily and adds an immense amount of beauty to the finish in lower lighting.

Below: Sarah, the darker sister of Lisa has the same type of finish, but while it "glows" the same, the glitter doesn't seem to sparkle and mesmerize quite as well as Lisa. I like the tone of this very light burgundy or darker red shade, and I think it's lovely for the Holidays.

Below: Valerie is a deep rich purple shade with primarily red and violet glitter. I see more gold glitter in the bottle than on the nail, but it is in there. This one also has a "glow" to it, and I love how it appears darker around the edges, and seems to frame the glow. Very vampy. Very pretty.

My initial thoughts on this collection when I first saw the promo pictures were that it was a gorgeous set of colors with a unique range of shades. I am not disappointed in these at all, and the fact that they applied beautifully in two coats doesn't hurt either. These are so sparkly, I couldn't stop staring at them! I'll be showing you the other 3 shades in this collection during my next post.

What do you think of the Fire & Ice collection? Did you, or will you be getting any of these shades?

  5. These are so pretty! I have to wait for a good sale to get them though. They're a bit out of my price range. Can't wait to see the rest!

  7. They're all so beautiful but, I've stopped buying Zoya polishes. It irks me to no end that the polish chips so easily. It's frustrating and disappointing when you order a beautiful polish, put it on as soon as it arrives and then watch it peel within hours. I know they have the lock system but, I'm not impressed with that either.

  10. I'm so glad zoya finally listened to me and named a polish Lisa - even if it was an ugly colour I would buy it - luckily it is gorgeous! I love Valerie aswell.
