New Sally Hansen LE Xtreme Wears-Part I
Sally Hansen has several new displays out for Fall, one being the XTreme Wear LE Collection. This tabletop display contains 10 shades, with slots for 2 of each color. I've got the first five shades for you today, and I'll have the other five up tomorrow. Let's take a look!Above: Purple Gala, possibly my favorite so far, shows a minimal amount of true purple. This makes it quite interesting, as it shifts from a greyed-out purple to a more faded purple. It's full of tiny gold glitter that works very nicely with this shade.
Below: Cosmic Blue is a darker royal blue with holographic small hexagon and bar glitter. The shade, while not terribly unique, definitely gets a boost from the glowing glitter assortment.Below: Golden Child is one that I should have used 3 coats on, because you can see some bare spots. This pale gold shimmer is filled with the same glitter type as Cosmic Blue. While this is pretty, I think had it been just a touch darker--and maybe a third coat would've proved this--it may appeal to me more.
Below: Concrete is definitely a favorite for a couple of reasons. This greige shade with hints of taupe, grey, and mauve is a delicate and gorgeous shade, and it has such a small amount of mauve...just enough to perfect the color. The application was totally perfect in two coats, adding to my love for it. I've never seen concrete in such a pretty shade!
Below: Fireberry Red has a name that fits it very well. This glowing deep red shade is filled with rich red and gold glitter. Again, not a terribly unique shade, but the price and quality of the XTreme Wear line makes it a great polish to pick up if you don't have something similar.

Purple Gala is my favorite from these.
ReplyDeleteLove these! I picked up six of them when I saw them at Rexall the other day, so they are already in Canada. I agree that Purple Gala is fantastic! And for the price, you can't beat the deal. Now I have to pick up the others based on your swatches! :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving metallic shades at the moment, and that purple looks great!
ReplyDeleteConfessions of a Beautyholic
I am totally in LUST with Purple Gala!
ReplyDeleteJust a heads up, that Purple Gala is a dupe to Hard Candy Mr Wrong...but I'll probably buy it again X)
ReplyDeleteThanks to PinkGinger I had my girlfriend pick them all up on Sunday. Boy, she paid $2.99! Darn that Walgreens. I'm wearing Cherry Punch and it's just not doing it for me. I don't know what it is but I don't feel the Punch! The rest look really great.
ReplyDeleteI really like cosmic blue. I think I need to make sure to add this one to my collection =^)
ReplyDeleteI only get them when I have coupons too but they are hard to come by. :-/
ReplyDeleteI have Purple Gala and now need Cosmic Blue. I like the bar glitter. Can't beat the prices considering the SH's Complete Salon Manicure collection is $8!
ReplyDeleteOMG, purple gala looks gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I like Cosmic Blue as well

ReplyDeleteI would love to get my hands on Concrete. Really love that one! But over here in Germany they are nowhere to get. :(
ReplyDeleteMaybe someday that one pops up on ebay so I can get it.
I like Concrete from this set, although it looks alot like Color Club High Society. I also like Fireberry Red.
