NOX Twilight Polishes: Sangria & Debutante

Above: Sangria, a high gloss jelly finish, is a deep red shade--dare I say a dark vampire blood red--that applied well using 2 coats. The finish on this is incredibly shiny and I had trouble photographing it without reflections. This is a perfect vampy jelly shade.

Below: Debutante is a subtle color-changer that has a lot of gold shimmer in a pale mauve base. This is also shown using 2 coats. This first picture is in partial shade, while the photo below this one was taken in more sunlight.

I'm not a Twilight fan, but I think my husband's a closet Twilighter because I found the cup shown behind the bottles above in his truck! These two shades were sent to me for review from Twilight Beauty, but I also ordered some more for myself, which I'll show in an upcoming post. I couldn't resist the bottle design, but now that I've tried the polishes, I wish I would've ordered the Ultimate collection.

The formula was very nice and I had no application issues. I was pleasantly surprised by how perfect the formula was on these. The bottles are as gorgeous in real life as they are on their website, and they're a little larger (0.58) than normal with a retail price of $6.99.

*Products featured were furnished by the manufacturer for review.

  5. I'm so glad that I did order the ultimate collection. At first I was hesitant to try these b/c I'm just not into the whole Twilight thing. Then when I saw some posted I broke down.

The only one I've used so far is Poseidon and it applied effortlessly! I can't wait to try out citrus or crash next ;)

  7. Love the bottles! I've read the first book and saw the first two movies. Love the storyline but I'm not insane about them. I'm sure all the books are much better than the movies. Anyway I love those polishes. I almost ordered them. I've been ordering so much lately. Just got Milani's Dress Maker yesterday. I read somewhere that it's a dupe for the Chanel. I sure hope so. I won't have to feel so bad that I don't have it. It's a gorgeous mint with faint blue flecks. Love it!
