Finger Paints Shades of Fall & Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink
Above & Below: Shades of Fall is the lone creme shade from Finger Paints Fall collection. This true plum color applied beautifully using 2 coats, and is shown under an Ott lamp (top) and with a flash (below).
Below: If Shades of Fall is too plain for you, release the glitter bomb found in Sally Hansen's Rockstar Pink.

Shades of Fall is a great plum tone, and if my collection wasn't in such disarray from moving it all, my guess it that I do have something similar though. It's cloudy outside right now, but I can only imagine what Sally Hansen's Rockstar Pink looks like in the sun. I was surprised at how pigmented it was with just one coat. Does anyone know how well it works on it's own, coat-wise?
Shades of Fall is awesome! I picked that one up over the weekend but haven't put it on yet!
ReplyDeleteThe last picture totally reminds me of the intro to the show, Family Affair.
ReplyDeleteI love that color!
ReplyDeleteI own Rockstar Pink but never tried it, I guess I really don't like pink at all. Might have to try it soon anyway, it looks fab on the picture. Shades of Fall looks very pretty, I still need to own a creme like that!
ReplyDeleteThat plum is soooo beautiful! And I can't believe that Rockstar Pink! That one is stunning!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these. Super shine on the Shades of Fall.
ReplyDeleteI indulged yesterday in getting all of FingerPaints fall collection. :)
ReplyDeleteYou did a great swatch...and that glitter...I love it!
This is wonderful! Glittery goodness! I actually asked about Rockstar Pink the other day and was told 2 coats to be opaque :) Hope that helps
ReplyDeleteHi Mary:
ReplyDeleteWhere do you find these gorgoeus colors? I love Finger Paints and this one, "Shades of Fall," is a knock-out punch! The last one with all it's glitter and glamor reminds of "beaded jewels."
Okay how did you apply the Sally Hansen glitter bomb so beautifully and amazingly? LOL
Nameste.
Mc Huggs :)
I am wearing it now. I bought this weeks ago. This looks awesome with just two coats needed to cover completely. Today I am wearing it on top of black which gives it a whole new look, It looks more of a stronger purple pink with mixed color glitter rather than mostly pink. I have also worn this without a base coat and a thin layer of Pure Ice brand nail polish in "cheatin". This feed my need for glitter without paying the larger cost for something like opi "madhatter"
ReplyDeleterOooh, I would have never thought to pair Rockstar Pink with this, but it looks amazing!
ReplyDeletethose glitters are really nice!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to have to get myself that Rockstar Pink!
ReplyDeleteow love the finger paints color!!
ReplyDeleteI actually just did a test nail with Rockstar Pink over three different polish shades and a bare white nail. With two coats, it's totally opaque, and you can't see the base color at all. I'll have to do a blog post showing this, I should have taken pictures when I did it! *laughs*
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful shade of plum. I just want to buy every plum polish I see. Just something so ripe and gorgeous about this shade. Looks beautiful on you. Adding Rockstar Pink puts it over the top. I have Rockstar on my list and I hope it's Rockstar Pink. I wouldn't even know where to look for it in my collection! What a yummy polish.
ReplyDeleteRockstar Pink took me 2 coats to get opaque - but I have to say, when I used it over a color, it peeled off in solid sheets the next day.
ReplyDeleteI just wore Rockstar Pink about two weeks ago. I loved it. I've had it for over a year, yet I had never worn it. I ended up with so many compliments on it. I layered it over China Glaze Long Kiss Goodnight. I used three coats just because I am a three coat kinda gal! :D
