Great Polish Day! Essie Resort, Barielle Summer 2010 & Essie Wedding
Wow! What a fun day this is turning out to be! I wasn't really expecting any of these, at least not just yet, so imagine my delight when I came home to find packages with all of these beautiful collections.
Above: Essie
Resort Collection: L-R Lapis of Luxury, Turquoise & Caicos, Playa Del Platinum, Splash of Grenadine.
Above & Below: Barielle Summer 2010 High Steppin', a six piece set of metallic hues, all disco-inspired! L-R: Electric Boogie, Slow Motion, Freestyle, Passion Pirouette, Night Moves, Belly Dance. Below is Protect Plus Color Nail Strengthener, which was also in the box. I haven't read the information yet, but I'm assuming it's a new product. I love the concept of Barielle's Strengthener mixed with color.
Above: Essie Wedding 2010 L-R: Walk Down the Aisle, Pillow Talk, Main Squeeze, BBF Best Boyfriend, Show Me the Ring, Petal Pink.
Below: Poor Petal Pink didn't fare well in transport. I'll move it into another bottle and hopefully it will be fine.

I need to get some swatching done, don't I? I don't even know where to begin. It's times like this that I wish I have more hands!

ReplyDeleteThe top essies look nice ;)
ReplyDeletePlease start with the Resort Collection!! Oh, pretty please!
ReplyDeleteThe resort collection looks really promising :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'd like to see the Resort Collection first! Sorry to see petal pink's demise. I just placed my first internet nail polish order and I hope everything comes unbroken. It gets so hot here (which breaks square-shouldered bottles) in the summer that I hoped to get the order here before the heat kicks in. Am cutting it close. I think I'll like 3/4 of the resort collection (not a big pink fan). -JenB
ReplyDeleteAh Essence Wedding collection ... not really my thing. Why are brides supposed to have boring nails?

ReplyDeletei neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed the resorts!
ReplyDeleteWow. Please swatch the essie wedding collection & essie resort! All the colors look gorgeous! I'd love to know if Essie BBF is a nude.
ReplyDeleteIn the bottle shots Orly Gumdrop and Essie Greenport look pretty close to dupes. Are they? I have gumdrop but greenport was old news and discontinued on most etailer sites at the time I discovered the wonderful nail blogging world and realized there were so many wonderful choices in green nail polish.
ReplyDeleteAhhh the Barielle polishes look fantastic! This is a brand I really need to try.
ReplyDeleteTurquoise & Caicos and Splash of Grenadine look so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteThat poor broken bottle makes me sad though :(
Thanks for all of the comments! The swatchfest has begun! I've posted Resort and the Barielle Summer and am working on Essie Wedding and Barielle's treatment. Peripetetic33~in answer to your question about Northport vs. Gumdrop--Gumdrop leans a little more toward the blue side, while Northport is a bit more green. But yes, they are quite similar.
