NOTD: Zoya Laney From The Reverie Collection

Zoya's Laney is described as a moonlit silver metallic, and it has an almost foil-like finish. This is a very bright silver, but the bad thing about that, is I can see brush strokes and every imperfection. I do like the finish, even though this one, unlike the others I've shown from the Reverie collection, doesn't show any evidence of being a duo chrome. I do see a slight flash of pink in the bottle, but nothing other than silver on the nail. I used 2 coats and I may add a drop or two of thinner, because it could possibly help with the brush stroke issue. The brightness of this one really impresses me, and I think it would work very well as a stamping color for a Konad design.
Zoya announced a little special today in honor of NYFW that's available until Friday. Spend $10.00 on either Zoya or Qtica products, and choose 2 Zoya nail polishes free. Here's a link to all of the details.

That is a gorgeous silver!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very nice, if those were on my nails I would have a hard time getting any work done, lol.

ReplyDeletejo.frougal~I'm just glad I'm not out in the sun. It would blind me for sure :)
SilhouetteScreams~I really think it would work well for that. I'll have to give it a try.
Lucy~I can't convey through the pictures just how bright this is. Very foil-like finish. Reminds me of the old Sally Hansen foil ones only with much better application.
London's-beauty~thanks! Glad you like it. Super blingy in real life!
