Color Club Rebel Debutante

Above & Below: L-R: Who Are You Wearing?, High Society, Best Dressed List, Charity Ball, Uptown Girl, She's Sooo Glam, Socialite. These are the 7 shades in the boxed set.
Below: Also part of the collection, but not included in the boxed set are L-R: Rebel Debutante, Gossip Column.
I know, I know, no swatches...yet! Color Club's Rebel Debutante polishes just arrived, so I'll start giving them a workout on the nail tomorrow, but bottle pictures are still fun sometimes. My thoughts after inspecting them are very good--all cremes, some Spring-like shades, a pastel or two, some trendy colors--lots of shades that will work not only this Spring, but year-round. Which ones do I find the most appealing? That's subjective of course, but my eyes were first drawn to two shades, Gossip Column and Who Are You Wearing? The question mark is part of the name! Gossip Column is a dark, yet vivid peacock blue, while Who Are You Wearing is a creamy buff or ivory shade, with a hint of grey. It's almost what I would call a pale taupe. Naturally, several others caught my attention as well, like the pastel lime green collection namesake, Rebel Debutante, and the light grey-taupe seen in High Society. The two shades that looked the most unique to me when wondering if I have any other similar polishes in my collection that resemble any of these, would have to be Best Dressed List (which could be someone's perfect 'mannequin hands'!) and Charity Ball, a rich rust brown that reminds me of the Crayon color, Burnt Sienna.

All in all, this collection looks like an exceptional palette of varied colors, and I can't wait to try them out. These can be purchased in a 7 piece boxed set, which does not include Rebel Debutante and Gossip Column, or they can all be purchased individually. I don't have a specific release date, but I do see them showing up on Victoria Nail Supply as unavailable, which leads me to think that they and other eTailers should have them within the next couple of weeks. What do you think? Any favorites?

  1. Out of this collection I'm only drawn to the green. Thanks for the bottle pics! Your site is the only one where I've found pictures of Poptastic! the collection I'm really excited about. Some of those colors I'm tempted to buy just for the name.

  6. Wow - High Society, Uptown Girl, Socialite, and Rebel Debutante are calling my name... loudly!! lol :)
Who are you wearing? looks promising as well. Don't you think it's a little strange Color Club names a polish "Who are you wearing?". I mean, since OPI has one named exactly that already... Oh well, this wouldn't be the first time that happens, though ;)
