Wet n Wild Sparked & Wild Orchid

Above & Below: Wild Orchid is more purple than it looks in the photos and the glitter really comes to life in brighter lighting.
Below: Sparked is a medium-toned mauve/pink shade with a high concentration of glitter.

These are a couple of Wet n Wild polishes I picked up at Walmart not too long ago, and for 97 cents each, you really can't go wrong. Sparked is a mauvey pink tone with tons of glitter and sparkle in a clear base. I used three coats, but it dried quickly and surprised me with how smooth the finish was. It would work well as a top coat over a darker shade, also. Wild Orchid covered nicely in 2 coats and try as I might, I couldn't get the true color to photograph. It's actually a purple shade, but it's showing blue or violet blue in the pictures. This reminds me very much of Color Club's Wild at Heart because it's very close in color and it has the same type of small, almost holographic glitter.

  1. Wow these are really sparkly!!They both look great on you!

  2. You picked out great colors, I love these!

  3. Beautiful! I have both of these, I should probably use them huh.

  4. Oh I love Sparked ! I used it once with another pink shade of them and I loved it ! I love that it's also looks beautiful on its own :-)

  5. Hi Mary! I also have Wild Orchid! I didn't get to try it yet, but I can't wait! I also love all the Maybelline polishes you've posted previously! Sorry I haven't been able to comment. Been busy :(

  6. Wild Orchid is hot! And for 97 cents too.
I'm wearing WnW right now (Morbid). The quality of these polishes overall is just outstanding.

  7. Wild Orchid is one of my untrieds. It looks gorgeous on you!

  8. Those are really both so pretty. I hadn't ever worn WetnWild before. I just recently found some new ones. I forget exactly the name I believe it might have been WetnWild Last? Not sure. I'm wearing Soul Mate which is a beautiful shade of orchid. I've been wearing it for three days with just minimal tip wear. I really love this shade. It's also very shiny. Since I've tried this one, I'll probably try other WetnWilds.

  9. Katie~thanks, it's a lot of sparkle for just a little money!

Gildedangel~these two really stood out to me in the display and for that price, I'm happy to have them!

Jessica~yes, you should use them! They are pretty, and WnW makes a pretty good polish.

Tuli~I was really happy to see that it had enough color to stand alone. It applied really well and I didn't need too many coats :)

Nail Fanatic~glad you like everything. I'm so behind too, don't worry about it!

DanaCerise~WnW makes a quality product and the price is great. I love their eyeshadows too, very inexpensive and great quality.

Pinkginger~sounds like lots of us have this! It's very pretty, I agree.

Lucy~their new collection (the round bottles) is really a fantastic range of colors. They're on sale a lot also, which makes them even less expensive.

  10. Lisa~thank you, I really like them too :)

  11. How delightfully pretty, I especially like the first inky, indigo blue shade.

Thank you ever so much for your lovely comment on my blog, sweet dear!

    Big hugs,

  12. I had this color, but I gave it to my mother! I didnt even try out either. Hmmm, now I should get it back! LOL Just kidding. For 97 cents I can afford to get another one.

  13. Wow, I really need to try these. I haven't used glittery nail polish in a long time. This makes me want to try them again. Thank you Ms. Mary! =]
