Below: Sakura Glow (left) and Preppy Pink (right) look similar in the bottle, but not so similar once applied.
Below: One coat of Sakura Glow over China Glaze It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere. It's sheer enough that it looks great as a topcoat also.
Here is the last of the Japanese exclusive glitter set from Victoria Nail Supply. You can see the other 3 in the previous posts from today and yesterday. Sakura Glow is a delicate shade of pastel pink with multi-colored glitter. This shade seems to have more of a creme base, while Strawberry Sherbet and Strawberry Candle have more of a clear base with a tint to it. The formula on all of these are like jelly, but unless you're applying it thickly, it doesn't cause any issues. All photos are shown using 3 coats. Even though the polish 'seems' to have a pink creme base, it applies with very little color at first. The color does build up after each coat, however. I'm happy with these polishes, as they're unlike anything I previously had. Although there are color similarities to a couple of the new China Glaze Glitters, they're different enough that I don't feel any of them are duplicates. My favorite of the 4 would have to be the purple one, Too Violet. Do you have any favorites from this set?
As much as I've enjoyed this glitter craze over the last week, I'm looking forward to trying out some of my new Fall colors and to using less polish remover!
