Above & Below: The above pictures were taken outdoors at dusk, no flash, below picture in indoors with flash. Index and ring fingers are wearing 2 coats of Kalmia, middle and pinkie fingers are sporting 2 coats of Isla.
Well, I told you I wanted to finish up the Truth set tonight and I still had these 2 polishes to swatch, but laziness set in. So what we have is a skittled look with beautiful colors that unfortunately, don't look so beautiful together. Hopefully you get the general idea of the colors individually and forgive me for being lazy! Isla is a rich, shimmery deep ruby red that seems to have a black base. I do believe that of the 6 polishes in the Truth set, this one is my favorite. I was quite taken with Drew, the carnation pink shimmer I posted first in this series, but Isla is in a class of it's own. Kalmia is pretty also, as it appears to be the color of caramelized peaches (those are delicious over ice cream, by the way). It's a burnt orange shade, but it has a touch of golden shimmer, which seems to soften it somewhat.
