QRS Swatches of Red Veil

I'm not really sure why I bought this one, because now that I see it in real life, I'm quite certain it's intended to be used as the final coat of a French Manicure. I didn't see a description of the color on the QRS website and I was drawn to the name, so that can be my excuse. I'm happy with it for what it is though. I applied a coat of Color Club's Milky White Base Coat to my nails first, which tends to whiten them overall, especially the tips. I then applied two coats of Red Veil. It gave me a sheer, pale watermelon red finish, that is sort of a jelly finish and extremely glossy. Coming up next for your viewing pleasure is my second favorite from this first box (I'm saving the best for last in this group!), a bright, pure sky blue creme which I'll dedicate to my friend and loyal reader of many of our blogs, Lucy. It's called Lucy Diamond.

  3. I like this. But it does look like it could be used for a french manicure. I have a polish like that.

  4. Another winner, winner, chicken dinner! Thanks for the dedication of the polish! You are a good friend and a sweetheart. I could use some cheering up. My leg is swollen, red, hot and hard. Not in a good way either. It's not the whole entire leg. I have Cellulitis. I had it years ago. I don't know how I got it. I'm taking an anti-biotic. I just realized that some of my leg looks like this polish, well even darker. Thanks for letting me moan and groan. I just love each polish.
