Below: The closest shade in my collection to Brisbane Bronze is China Glaze In Awe of Amber.
OPI Brisbane Bronze is from the 2007 Spring/Summer Australia Collection, which consisted of 12 shades. This shade is a bright copper shimmer and although I needed 3 coats to get total coverage, the application was not a problem, nor was the drying time. This collection of polishes has the ProWide brush, which makes the application quick and easy. The golden/brown shimmer is a bit more evident in this polish that in others, as it seems to glisten quite a bit, especially when wearing it in the sun. It's a perfect shade for summer, especially on your toes. The earth tone, combined with the shimmer, also makes it a great color for Fall. I checked my stash to see if it's "dupey" to anything else I have and the closest one I saw was China Glaze In Awe of Amber, which is a little lighter and a bit more on the gold side. I'm glad I picked this one up because I didn't have anything quite like it and it's a year 'round shade. This was on a clearance table at Regis Salon when I bought it, so I wasn't sure if it was a discontinued shade. After doing some checking I don't believe it is, and it seems to be readily available from a number of stores when I checked Pebble.com.
