I was recently sent a tube of Covergirl Outlast Lipstain in the shade 'Teasing Blush' to sample. No review was required, but I was impressed with the product, so I thought I'd share my opinion with you. This can be purchased at most drugstores and Walmart and Target-type stores. It retails for $7.29 and often goes on sale for less. I'm not a big fan of lipstains because the ones I've tried in the past seem to settle into the fine lines on your lips and if you aren't very precise with your application, especially around the edge of your lips, you're just asking for trouble! What I liked about this is it's very lightweight in feeling and the color lasted over 6 hours before I noticed it lightening up a bit. It's in an applicator tube much like a felt tip pen. It comes in 10 shades, although I'm not crazy about this shade on me because I tend to wear shades that aren't quite this bright. So I'm going to look for a one that's more in my comfort zone. It dried quickly and there was no smearing at all. It's non-transferable, so it won't rub off. It felt more moisturising than other lipstains I've used and I imagine that's because there's no alcohol in it and it's water-based. It also contains glycerin to condition your lips and has a light, raspberry-vanilla scent. The shade actually came out more vivid than the color of the tube, so keep that in mind if you plan on purchasing these. The only thing I didn't like about these is that they dry to a fairly matte finish and I prefer the feel and look of a glossier product, so I topped it off with a touch of Aquaphor just to add some shine.
