TOTD: OPI A True Ab-Original

By putting TOTD in the title, I thought that would serve as a warning to those who don't wish to look at toes! But if you're reading this, you're already in, so it's too late! I'm still trying to get the glue off the edges of my fingernails from the false nails I had on the last couple of days, so believe it or not, my toes were the better choice of nails I have to show you. I also chopped my nails down to the nub because I had a peeling one on my right hand and put a nice cut in my left hand thumb nail chopping meat for my dogs yesterday. So hopefully they'll be recovered from the trauma they've suffered by tomorrow. From the Australia collection, True Ab-Original is an red/orange-coral shimmer with a bit of 'glow' to it. It covered nicely in 2 coats and has the Pro-wide brush, which for me, always makes for a quick and easy application. This coral has no pink in it, so if you're looking for a shimmery coral, this would be a perfect choice.
For those MAC lovers out there, MAC Cosmetics is offering 25% off all online orders 6/16-6/18. MAC discounts are far and few between, so if you're interestred in taking advantage of this offer, see details in the 'Tip Jar' column on the right hand side of this page..

  1. How cute, TOTD! Nice toes and like the polish. What a shame about all that glue. I can't remember who's blog it was that wrote about the glue. I know they said don't use as much as the package says. I guess they want you to mess your own nails up so you'll have to wear their's. Hope your rested up from the party.

  4. Oh, cute color choice for your toes! I like it so much - I'm really developing a love for corals, so I can appreciate this post :)
I don't think I'll be braving any falsies of any style for a while, I'm still having trouble with a couple of my own nails from acrylics.

  5. That's a great summer toe colour! It's kind of like Paint my Moji-toes from the South Beach collection I think.

Bad news on the nail. I once cut right through one of mine when slicing the string wrapped round a beef joint so I feel your pain!

Vanessa~my toes are shy, but they thank you for the compliment! I like this color on my toes, probably a bit more than I would on my fingers.

Kae~thank you, I love corals and this one has such nice shimmer. Helen's injury sounds very painful, but what in the world is a beef joint? :)

  10. Don't you guys have beef joints there?! All legal! Just a joint/piece of meat that is all tied up in string to hold it together and you sling it in the oven for the great British Sunday roast dinner! Haha!

It didn't hurt don't worry and it wasn't a bad break (unlike the one I am sporting at the moment) - sorry for making you cringe ladies.
