Well that's kind of an awkward title, isn't it? No nails pictures for you today because I'm still nursing my dog bite from yesterday. I cringe thinking about getting nail polish remover on it, so we'll just wait and see what tomorrow brings. In the meantime, I've started using my Saturday posts to mention a few blogs that I'm following and enjoying in hopes that you'll check them out too. The first is Olivia's blog (Livi Lu Lu). She lives in Florida and I am always envious of the foliage in the background of her pictures! She does a great job and gets very excited about some of the colors she posts and that makes me happy. Another blog I enjoy is Nanzy's over at Shizznizzle. She posts about nails, fashion, makeup...a variety of topics that interest me. She's in Hawaii...I envy that! And least but not least this week is Kitty at Kittyluvscolor. She's a relatively new blogger but already has done alot of posts. Today she posted a beautiful Estee Lauder polish in bright blue, which really interested me because I love EL polish, but most of their colors are in the more conservative range. She mentioned in her contest entry e-mail that my blog was one of the first that she started following. I certainly appreciate that and am happy to share my passion with her. I can't forget to mention, she has a lovely little girl that she posts about too! I love discovering new blogs, mostly through all of your blog rolls and mentions, so I just want to keep the blog love going!
Casual Lavish did an Earth, Wind & Fire Zoya contest on Earth Day and I was one of the lucky winners. My package arrived yesterday and I'm excited to try these out. I was Zoya-less prior to this win. I'll also be trying out as a Bzz Agent, John Frieda's newest hair care offering, the Root Awakening line. I received that package today and if anyone is interested in one of the sample packs of shampoo and conditioner, send me an e-mail and I'll be happy to drop one in the mail to you. The ones I received are for breakage-prone hair, if that matters to you. All I ask is that you send me a quick e-mail with a very brief opinion, basically did you like it and why or why not. I'll also include a coupon for $2.00 off. I received 5 of them, so they're up for grabs. The basis of this line is that 'Healthy hair starts at the roots.. Formulated with natural Eucalyptus and essential oils to purify, stimulate, feed and nourish your scalp and hair from roots to ends. The result? Hair that looks more resilient, radiant and 3x healthier." So my stock of new things to try keeps growing and growing, yet I keep getting and buying more. Does anyone else have that problem? Ha-ha-ha-ha, I think I know the answer!
