Below: It appears as a pinkish-bronze in most light, but as you can see on my pinkie nail, it is more bronze in dimmer lighting.
...Alexandra! Alexandra is from Sweden and you can find her blog, Alexlyndra, here. She just did a great post featuring her Strawberry manicure, so be sure and check it out. Congratulations, Alexandra! It's not too late to send in your e-mail entry because we're doing a drawing every Friday during the month of May. You can find the details in the 'May Contest' box in the upper right corner of my blog.
Today's NOTD is an older polish, but one of my favorites. Maybelline's Express Finish LE polish in Coco Cabana is a beautiful bronze-pink shade with tiny silver glass flecks. It dries somewhat closer to a matte finish, not entirely, but enough that without a top coat (which I am wearing in the picture), it looks a bit dull. Not dull enough to be considered a true matte, unfortunately. It applies very well in just one coat, which is almost unheard of. I added a thin second coat, just for good measure, but it's amazing how well it covers in just one. This was released several years ago in a LE collection but I have read that it has been spotted at some Dollar Trees.
It looks like Brooke got her wish, according to our "Which Brand Would You Like Featured" poll in the upper right corner! As you can see, the results were close, but Pure Ice won out. I have enough Pure Ice polishes that I'll probably do this in 2 parts, because they also make great layering polishes and it may take quite a few pictures to show you a good representation of their polishes. I'll likely start the 'Brand Focus' posting over the weekend. I've been so busy and out of the house the last couple of days that I've fallen behind in reading all of your blogs, so I'm going to try and get to that this evening as I start my Pure Ice swatching. Have a great weekend!
