Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mom's! Yesterday, the florist delivered a lovely Hydrangea plant from my husband for Mother's Day and my first thought was, 'Secret Periwinkle.' I really need to stop associating things to nail polish colors, but who agrees with me on this one? Of course I had to do a quick manicure and see if I was right. It looks pretty close to me! We're going to plant this in the yard in a few days, but until then, I'm just enjoying it in the house. I also received an Amethyst Calla Lily last night from my stepson and daughter-in-law that's really beautiful. The blooms are cream and pale purple/plum, a bit variegated, so you can be sure I'll coordinate some polish to it and share that with you during the next week. I know, I'm a bit of a freak!

Oh I love it, polish & flower match!!! hahaha but for some reason I like Secret Periwinkle alone, without glitters =) i think it's just me not loving glitters in general LOL

Hope you had a nice Mother's Day. I love hydrangeas. You know your a nail fanatis when you associate a nail polish with a flower color! Now you have to find one to match your calla lilly.
