Below: The last 6, all used in today's post L-R: Kiss Me Here, Heart Breaker, Strapless, Really Rio, China Girl, All Nighter.
Below: 2 coats of Strapless applied on the Index and Middle Fingers, 2 coats of Heart Breaker applied on the Ring and Pinky fingers. I love how it turned green! It looks very much like China Glaze's Emerald Sparkle. Click pics for close-up. It's stunning in real life, but I took many pictures and none turned out as beautiful as it looks in actuality.
Below: This is a base using Kiss Me Here (medium gray creme) and layered with 2 coats of Really Rio. It's kind of different, a dark burnt orange color.
Below: Pure Ice Kiss Me Here, a nice medium gray creme.
This post will conclude my Pure Ice Brand Focus and I hope you've all enjoyed it. I had quite a bit of fun playing with some layering combinations I hadn't tried before and was totally surprised by the similarities between layering Pure Ice Heart Breaker over Creative Nail Design's NFS, to China Glaze's Emerald Sparkle. Heart Breaker is extremely sheer, but is a great polish for layering. Today I swatched the last 6 of my Pure Ice's and also did a bit of layering with some of them. I wish I had more time to try other combinations to show you, but I think these posts give you a pretty good idea that for less the $2.00 each, you get a versatile bottle of nail polish, depending on what colors you choose. Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is our second drawing for the May Contest, so if you're a follower and haven't entered or perhaps a lurker who would like to enter, read the informational box in the top right corner titled "May Contest" and send me an e-mail today.
