OPI Colorcopia

Above: L-R: Shoot Out at the OK Coral, Sahara Sapphire, D.C Cherry Blossom, Copper Mountain Copper, Venus Di Violet, Florentine Fuchsia. On my nails: Mediterranean Moonlight.
Above: Mediterranean Moonlight with no flash, indirect sunlight. 2 coats, good application.
Below: Shoot Out at the OK Coral, 3 coats, and still not as good as I'd like. A bit streaky, but I do like the color.
These are the recent re-releases of some of OPI's LE shades over the years. I wasn't wowed by this collection, but still thought it my duty to pick up a few to share with you! There are 12 polishes in this collection, 5 of which I already had, so I just got these 7. I really don't feel moved by these enough to write alot description wise, isn't that terrible? So to liven up the entry, I posted a picture of my feet. You can blame OPI, if they had come out with some of the better, more unusual LE shades they have issued in the past, I wouldn't have to resort to feet pictures just so I had something to add to my post! Now had they included in this collection, say Jasper Jade or Black Magic Mountain, you would be reading a much longer, more impassioned post and it probably wouldn't need feet pics as filler! My feelings are fairly indifferent toward this collection, for the most part. I like Sahara Sapphire, but it's similar to other polishes I have, and the same with D.C Cherry Blossom and Florentine Fuchsia. Is it just me, or was anyone else not terribly impressed with their selections?

  2. I was excited by the collection. But not so much now. I had put in a big order from TransDesign but didn't click that button to pay for it. I think I'll just wait to see the rest of the swatches. I do like the Mediterranean Moonlight on you. Very pretty! The polish on your toes also looks nice but I think I'll skip that color.

  3. Hi there! I ordered last week Sahara Sapphire and Kinky in Helsinky. Nothing else impressed me! I noticed a lot of reds and pinks, which I like. But thought they could have done a better job. There are some cool colors I missed out on. And would like to be able to buy.

  5. Chrissy~it does look like a nice color, I'll try and use it soon for you.

Lucy~I always make these huge orders and then change my mind at the last minute, which is sometimes a good thing! I really like the MM also. I'll be using the others over the next couple of weeks and post pics.

Velvet~there are quite a few discontinued OPI's I'd love to get my hands on, too! Sahara Sapphire intriques me. That may be the next one I use.

  11. Hi,

I wasn't thrilled with the collection either. I got Venus Di Violet and that was all. I already had an old Purple-opolis so no need to restock.

I keep loving the pics I'm seeing of Kinky In Helsinki but am restraining at the mo as it doesn't look vastly different from Pompeii Purple. Maybe someone can prove me wrong?

  13. I'm not impressed at all! Where's the Rainforest or Black Tie Optional, and why so many pinks/reds?! Don't we have enough of those already? The only one I've gotten so far is Kinky In Helsinki...and I think I found a dupe for it at a local thrift store for $0.50!

  14. The Asian Girl~I know! Would it have hurt them to put something unique in this collection?!!
