March 1st always give me hope for warmer weather. However, living in Michigan, I know it's still going to be a while before I can enjoy some of my summer colors. Today will be the day I start pampering my feet getting them ready for sandal season. They tend to get a bit neglected during the winter months. I'll start with a soak in my Conair Massaging Spa Foot Bath and then go through the same routine with my toes that I use on my hands. I need to start incorporating foot care into my routine with the same regularity I do for my hands. I'll keep you posted on my toe progress as I have some new products I want to try out for pedicure care. Sadly, my yellow collection consists of only 7 bottles. I love yellow in the summer, especially with a tan. I swatched 5 of the yellows and then topped them with the 2 sheerest yellows to add a bit of a different look. I don't know about you, but I generally find yellows to be streaky and tend to need a minimum of 3 coats for an opaque look. Excuse the sloppiness of my application...I was trying to swatch and get a roast in the over at the same time! This may be the reason I don't have a lot of yellow in my stash. I'd love to hear your thoughts on yellow polish and if you have any that you really love...or dislike, for that matter!

  1. I don't have any yellow nail polish in my collection now. I had a creme yellow when I was younger, I think it was from american eagle or gap. I might add it to my stash, but I know that it looks good with a tan, so maybe I'll wait and see if I am going to be working outside this summer before I jump for it.
Thanks for the post, these are some great yellows!

  2. That NYX looks amazing! Yellow is such a cool summer color.

  3. I love all kinds of brights, so yellow is right up my alley. I have ChG Solar Power, some mystery yellow from Times Square New York and Mellow Yellow by Sally Hansen. I haven't used any of them yet. I'm just waiting on warmer weather. *sigh*
